Protect Yourself from the Flu

11 November 2025

It’s Time to Get Your Annual Flu Vaccine

The flu may seem like a familiar illness, but it can still cause serious complications, especially for young children, older adults, pregnant women, and those with chronic conditions.

Getting your annual flu vaccine is a simple, effective way to protect yourself and the people around you.

Each flu season, the vaccine is updated to protect against the latest strains of the influenza virus, so even if you were vaccinated in the previous season, it’s important to stay protected with this season’s shot.

It only takes a few minutes, but it can make a lasting difference to the health of you and your loved ones.

How to Get Your Flu Vaccine at Our Clinics

At HMI OneCare, getting your flu vaccine is simple and stress-free. Whether you prefer to plan ahead or just drop by when it’s convenient, we have two easy options for you:

Option 1: Walk In Anytime

You can visit any of our clinics during opening hours and receive your flu vaccine without an appointment.

  • Walk-ins are welcome at all clinic locations.
  • Please bring your ID and any relevant medical information (for example, allergy history or ongoing medications).
  • While there are usually flu vaccines available at our clinics, we would recommend visiting early in each flu season to stay ahead of any shortages.

This option is perfect if you prefer flexibility or decide to get vaccinated on the spot during another visit.

Option 2: Make an Appointment to Reserve Your Vaccine

If you’d like to secure your vaccine in advance, you can easily book one by selecting your preferred clinic here.

Appointment Tips:

  • Booking ahead guarantees your vaccine dose and helps us prepare for your visit.
  • Each booking is for 1 person. If you would like to book appointments for your family members, please book multiple appointments.
  • If you’re unwell on the day of your appointment, contact the clinic to reschedule.

Whether you walk in or book ahead, our healthcare professionals are here to make your vaccination experience comfortable, safe, and efficient.

What’s the current strain of the flu vaccine?

The quadrivalent flu vaccine is available at our clinics.

The current strain available is:

2025-2026 Northern Hemisphere seasonal influenza vaccine

The composition of this vaccine is the same as the earlier 2025 Southern Hemisphere seasonal influenza vaccine, that was available from Apr 2025 onwards.

The current vaccine is recommended for those who:

  • Have not taken a flu vaccine before or;
  • Have taken a flu vaccine prior to Apr 2025

Who Should Get Vaccinated?

Everyone aged six months and older is encouraged to get the annual flu vaccine. It is especially important for:

  • Adults aged 65 and above
  • Young children, especially under 5 years old
  • Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy)
  • People with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or heart disease
  • Healthcare workers and caregivers
  • Anyone living in shared spaces or caring for vulnerable individuals

Even if you’re generally healthy, getting vaccinated helps reduce flu transmission which protects your loved ones and your community.

Don’t wait for flu season to peak — protect yourself early. Visit your nearest clinic or reserve your flu vaccine appointment today.

Whether you prefer to walk in or book ahead, we’re ready to welcome you at our clinics and make your vaccination experience smooth and reassuring.
