Dr John graduated from Christian Medical College Vellore, India in 2006.
In the early years, he worked as a general practitioner with the Methodist Mission Hospitals in India and helped establish their rural and community health outreach. He also had stints as a resident physician in a Multi-Super-Speciality Hospital in India and trained under eminent consultants from various fields such as neurology, pulmonology, general internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, rheumatology and nephrology.
Dr John moved to Singapore in 2015 and initially provided care for the elderly in a community hospital. Whilst in this job he had been conferred a number of Health Quality Service Awards. He obtained his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine from the National University of Singapore in 2019.
His areas of interests include chronic disease management and geriatric care. He strongly believes in establishing good rapport with his patients and empowering them in shared decision-making.
